Radium Engineering MPFST Multi-Pump Fuel Surge Tank - Universal

The Radium Engineering MPFST (multi-pump fuel surge tank) stops fuel starvation in high-powered cars with inadequate tank baffling. A lift pump – usually the OEM in-tank pump – keeps the surge tank full, and its volume acts as a buffer so the MPFST pumps stay supplied even if the lift pump momentarily starves during high-g cornering or at low tank levels. Excess fuel returns to the main tank, and the tank offers a simple way to upgrade a fuel system without opening the stock tank.

How does a RADIUM Fuel Surge Tank work?

Redesigned for 2024, the MPFST houses up to three pumps that merge into a single outlet, and because the compatible pumps have check valves, staging is possible. A swirl-pot design helps de-aerate the fuel and reduce foaming. Use the variant selector to choose the version for your pumps: 20-1440 for 1–3 Walbro GSS342, AEM 50-1200 or Deatschwerks DW440 pumps, or 20-1442 for 1–3 Walbro F90000267/274/285 pumps (F90000295 fits but cannot be staged; Protec 11928, Fuelab 49614 and DW810 need the 13-1187 base, sold separately).

Note: Fuel pumps are not included – the kit includes all other parts needed to install them. A lift pump and external fuel pressure regulator are required. Installation by a professional is recommended.
