This Radium Engineering install kit (SKU 20-0120) contains everything needed to fit a single-pump Radium Fuel Surge Tank (FST) to the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII and IX. The surge tank and fuel pump are not included and are purchased separately to suit your pump choice.

How does a RADIUM Fuel Surge Tank work?

The FST sits in a collision-safe area of the boot, centred behind the rear seat, on a black anodised aluminium bracket that bolts to the OEM V-brace. Most of the boot remains usable and the tank is isolated behind the OEM carpet trim to reduce pump noise and vibration. Pre-assembled -6AN PTFE hoses with stainless braid and black PVC coating are non-permeable, preventing fuel odour in the cabin.

Note: Suits Radium FSTs using a single 39mm fuel pump; not designed for the Radium MPFST. Because the OEM pump housing has a restrictive return port, static fuel pressure may rise slightly with a high-flow pump – this can be addressed by modifying the venturi jet pump in the OEM return line as described in the instructions. Installation by a professional is recommended.
