It mounts securely in the engine bay using factory locations and is designed to improve crankcase ventilation by filtering oil vapors and fuel mist from the PCV system. Overview:
The PCV catch can installs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. During low-load conditions such as idle, cruising, or deceleration, vacuum draws blow-by vapors through the PCV system. This catch can captures oil mist and contaminants before they reach the intake manifold—helping to maintain cleaner intake tracts, consistent performance, and reduced carbon buildup.
