Radium Engineering Coolant Tank Kit - Ford Mustang (S550)

This Radium Engineering coolant expansion tank kit (SKU 20-0286) replaces the factory plastic coolant tank at the front of the engine bay on the Ford Mustang (S550). The tank is CNC-machined from aluminium in two halves that bolt together, with a black anodised finish.

Its low-profile shape frees up room in the engine bay for superchargers, turbo kits and other modifications. Inside, the two chambers are linked by crossover passages at the top and bottom, and an internal swirl feature helps de-aerate the coolant. The kit keeps the factory cooling system function and needs no permanent modifications.

Note: The coolant pressure cap is sold separately. Radium states the OEM pressure cap cannot be reused; Ford's rating for the S550 Mustang is 1.45 bar (21 psi), and Radium's optional high-pressure caps are available for track use. Installation by a professional is recommended.
