The Radium 20-0439 adapter converts a standard 5-bolt SAE fuel level sender flange into a large 12AN ORB vent port, making it ideal for applications requiring increased venting capacity. Commonly used with older FCST units (20-014X-XX) that featured a smaller vent, this adapter allows high-flow venting while maintaining compatibility with existing bolt patterns.

Important Installation Notes
To minimise fuel loss and prevent vent line pressurisation, follow these routing guidelines:

1. Route the vent hose vertically upward from the fuel cell to allow fuel to drain back.

2. Add a forward-facing loop to reduce slosh-related fuel escape.

3. If limited on vertical space, use looped expansion chambers to trap liquid and reduce vapour emissions.

4. Ensure the vent line is higher than the fuel fill point in remote fill applications.

5. Always terminate the vent line outside the cabin, away from the exhaust system.
