PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System - Honda Civic Type R (FL5)

The PRL High Volume Intake replaces the factory airbox on the FL5 Civic Type R with a sealed HDPE rotomoulded box and a 152mm (6") cone filter. It keeps the factory rubber duct and bonnet seal, and adds a second duct so the engine no longer starves for air with the bonnet shut. PRL measured a 133% increase in airflow over the factory intake while keeping factory-like fuel trims.

Note: As supplied it connects to the factory turbo inlet pipe; PRL's titanium and carbon inlet pipe kits are designed to pair with it. PRL states no ECU recalibration is needed. Installation by a professional is recommended.
