Nitto I-Beam Connecting Rods - Ford Barra 4.0 - Falcon (BA / BF / FG / FG X) / Territory (SX / SY / SZ)

A set of six I-beam connecting rods for the standard-stroke 4.0 litre Barra six, as fitted to the BA to FG X Falcon, XR6 Turbo, FPV F6 and Territory. They suit builds that go past an intermediate power level, from hard-driven street cars to drag and circuit engines.

One length is listed: 153.86 mm centre to centre, to suit the standard-stroke 4.0L crank. For a 3.8L de-stroke, see the Nitto V2 rods in 158 mm.

Every Nitto steel rod starts as double-melted 4340 billet, a cleaner material than the single-melt steel common in the aftermarket, and is forged as one piece for a consistent grain structure. The I-beam has a long record of surviving hard use and suits most performance builds, sitting between the H-beam and Nitto's flagship V2 rod.

Note: Installation by a professional is recommended. Engine internals must be measured and set up by a qualified engine builder.

• Quenched, heat treated and shot peened (38 HRC)
• Doweled caps for accurate cap alignment
• ARP 2000 rod bolts, 7/16", with an optional ARP Custom Age 625+ bolt upgrade
• Silicon bronze pin-end bushes
• Balanced to within ±1 gram per set, bores held to ±0.0001"
• Big and pin ends sized on Sunnen hones with diamond tooling; 100% CNC profiled, drilled and tapped

Warranty

Nitto parts are built for racing and off-road use. Inspect every part during assembly and blueprinting, and contact us before fitting if anything measures outside tolerance.
