The V2 is Nitto's top-of-the-range steel rod, and this set of six suits the Barra six from the BA to FG X Falcon, XR6 Turbo, FPV F6 and Territory. Nitto reports V2 rods passing 2000 hp in Barra, RB30 and 2JZ engines, so they are aimed squarely at big-power drag, roll racing and time attack builds.

Choose the length to match your crank: 153.86 mm for a standard-stroke 4.0L engine, or 158 mm for a 3.8L de-stroke built around the 94 mm crank.

Every Nitto steel rod starts as double-melted 4340 billet, a cleaner material than the single-melt steel common in the aftermarket, and is forged as one piece for a consistent grain structure. Compared with the standard I-beam, the V2 has a reworked beam pocket that leaves more material where it matters, profiled beam sides and pin end instead of straight-cut ones, and CHE pin bushes made from CHE's own bush material.

Note: Installation by a professional is recommended. Engine internals must be measured and set up by a qualified engine builder.

Nitto parts are built for racing and off-road use. Inspect every part during assembly and blueprinting, and contact us before fitting if anything measures outside tolerance.
