Nitto stroker pistons let a 4G63T from the Lancer Evolution IV to IX run a longer-stroke crankshaft for 2.2L or 2.3L of capacity. They are aimed at serious boosted builds, from strong street cars to drag and circuit engines, where extra capacity brings more torque and quicker turbo response.

Pick the capacity to match your crankshaft: the 2.2L pistons suit Nitto's 94 mm stroke crank and the 2.3L pistons suit the 100 mm crank. In Nitto's own kits the 2.2L combination uses 153 mm rods and the 2.3L uses 150 mm rods. Then choose the bore, 85.5 mm (+0.020") or 86.0 mm (+0.040"). All run a 22 mm (0.866") pin and a dished crown: -14 / -15 cc for 2.2L and -18 / -19 cc for 2.3L.

Nitto sets the specification and CP Carrillo in California forges and machines each piston from low-silicon 2618 aluminium using its Turbo HD forging. Every set includes a PVD-coated ring set that seals the bore well under boost while reducing friction against the cylinder wall, along with CP's 9310 wrist pins, which are hardness tested, case hardened and cryogenically treated. Forced double pin oiling, anti-detonation grooves and accumulator grooves are standard.

Note: Installation by a professional is recommended. Engine internals must be measured and set up by a qualified engine builder.

Nitto parts are made for racing and off-road use. Inspect every part during assembly and blueprinting, and contact us before fitting if anything measures out of tolerance.
