Frenkit Performance Brake Caliper Piston & Seal Rebuild Kit Porsche 944 / 968 / Boxster S (986/987) / Cayman S (987) Front Brembo 36/40mm

Frenkit Performance Brake Caliper Piston & Seal Rebuild Kit - Porsche 944 / 968 / Boxster S (986/987) / Cayman S (987) - Front Brembo 36/40mm

This Frenkit Performance kit rebuilds one front Brembo 4-piston caliper with 36mm and 40mm pistons, as fitted to the Porsche 944 S2 (1988–1991), 968 (1991–1995), Boxster S (986 and 987) and Cayman S and Cayman R (987). It adds new pistons to the high-temperature seals and dust boots of the matching Frenkit Performance seal kit.

Frenkit Performance parts use a peroxide-vulcanised silicone rubber developed for high brake temperatures. It works from -60°C to +200°C continuously and copes with short spikes to 300°C, and Frenkit says it keeps its properties about 30% better than rival materials after 70 hours at 200°C.

Note: For the Brembo 4-pot front caliper with 36mm and 40mm pistons on these models; the 911 (964/996), base Boxster and base Cayman use kit 673607. Check your caliper before ordering. One kit services one caliper; order two kits for a pair. Installation by a professional is recommended.
