DIXCEL Anti-Squeal Brake Pad Shims (4-Piece Set) for Rear Calipers

During braking, friction between the brake pads and disc rotor generates high-frequency vibrations. When these vibrations are transmitted to the caliper piston, it results in annoying brake squeal. By installing these specially engineered shims directly onto the back of your rear brake pads, the vibrations are effectively absorbed and reduced to inaudible levels.

Each shim features a highly effective three-layer structure—consisting of a durable stainless steel core sandwiched between vibration-absorbing resin layers—to block and suppress noise transmission.

Installation Guide: Cleanly remove any dirt and oil from the back plate of the brake pads. Attach the shim securely without any gaps to match the shape of the pad backing. After application, apply brake grease as needed, then install the pads and check brake operation.

Crucial Note: Please do not stack these with the standard stainless steel shims that come with your vehicle or pads. Stacking them will unnecessarily increase thickness, which can cause the brake pads to drag or make installation impossible. Additionally, squeaking caused by heavily worn rotors or degraded hardware may not be completely eliminated by shims alone.
