The Cusco Type RS Limited Slip Differential (LSD) is a high-performance solution for serious drivers who demand sharper response and improved traction. Built with a high-tensile chrome molybdenum steel case and gears, this LSD is engineered to handle the rigours of motorsport while maintaining long-term durability.

Featuring Cusco’s unique groove-cut clutch plates and large oil windows, the Type RS delivers smoother engagement, better heat dissipation, and reduced wear. Its 1.5-way design offers full lock during acceleration and partial lock on deceleration, giving drivers improved cornering stability with less understeer compared to a 2-way LSD.

Unlike conventional cone-style LSDs, the Type RS uses coil springs between the pressure rings for consistent, progressive engagement. This design not only enhances response and drivability but also minimises clutch plate wear over time.

The unit is fully customisable, allowing drivers to adjust clutch plate configuration and spring preload to suit their specific needs. It can also be converted to a full 2-way LSD by rotating the internal centre spline, making it suitable for a wide range of driving styles and applications.
