Cusco Type RS Rear LSD 1.5-Way - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (CZ4A) - AYC Models

The Cusco Type RS rear LSD is a clutch-type limited slip differential for the rear diff of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (CZ4A) with AYC. It locks smoothly under power for better traction out of corners, and it is the same design Cusco proved in the All Japan Gymkhana Championship, where cars ran a full season without an overhaul.

Cusco's Type RS uses precision springs in the pressure plates instead of cone-plate preload. Cusco's own testing shows 50 to 70% less initial torque than a conventional cone-plate LSD, so there is less drive friction, sharper response, less chatter and less clutch plate wear. This unit is set as a 1.5-way (55/20 cam), which locks under acceleration and less on deceleration, so it understeers less on corner entry than a 2-way. It can be converted to 2-way (55/55) when it is rebuilt.

Note: Suits Evolution X models with AYC only. Side bearings are not included; you need two Mitsubishi side bearings (part number MB393957). Installation and setup by a qualified driveline workshop is recommended.
