COBB Turbo Blanket - Mazda3 MPS (BK/BL)

The COBB turbo blanket wraps the turbine housing on the Mazda3 MPS (BK and BL). Keeping the heat in the turbine housing helps the exhaust energy drive the turbo, for quicker spool and faster response, while cutting the heat that soaks into nearby parts and the intake. It covers more of the turbine housing and downpipe flange than the factory heat shields.

Note: Direct fit for the factory turbo and most stock-frame aftermarket turbos. Installation by a professional is recommended.

  • Outer layer of fire-retardant volcanic rock fabric, rated 815°C (1500°F) direct and 982°C (1800°F) radiant heat
  • Calcium magnesium silicate wool insulation, rated 982°C (1800°F) direct and 1260°C (2300°F) peak
  • Better coverage of the turbine housing and downpipe flange than the factory shields
  • Low-profile retention springs clear the wastegate actuator
  • Direct fit for OEM and most stock-frame aftermarket turbos
