COBB Front Mount Intercooler - Mazda3 MPS (BL) - Black Couplers

The COBB Gen2 front mount intercooler kit replaces the factory top mount on the Mazda3 MPS BL. A 610 x 165 x 89mm (24" x 6.5" x 3.5") bar and plate core with cast aluminium end tanks sits centred in the bumper opening, fed by 64mm (2.5") mandrel-bent aluminium piping in wrinkle black. COBB measured thermal efficiency above 80% through most of the rev range, with a pressure drop under 0.75 psi at 21 psi of boost, to cut heat soak on repeated runs. This version comes with black silicone couplers.

Note: Keeps the factory crash bar. No bumper cutting; the front undertray needs simple trimming. Works with the stock or an aftermarket bypass valve. A tune is required (COBB off-the-shelf maps support it). Installation by a professional is recommended.
