COBB Front Mount Intercooler Core Subaru WRX (VB)

COBB Front Mount Intercooler Core - Subaru WRX (VB)

This is the intercooler core from the COBB front mount intercooler kit for the Subaru WRX VB. It uses a Garrett vertical-flow core measuring 610 x 203 x 89mm (24" x 8" x 3.5"), with air flowing from bottom to top, which packages well in the VB. Tapered formed-aluminium end tanks spread pressure evenly across the core for better cooling, and each tank has a machined billet 64mm (2.5") inlet or outlet.

Available in black or silver powder coat. Both are the same core; only the finish differs.

Note: Not compatible with CSF radiators. Core only. It needs the COBB WRX VB hot and cold pipe kit and mounting parts from the COBB front mount intercooler kit. Works with the stock tune or COBB off-the-shelf maps. Installation by a professional is recommended.
