COBB Front Mount Intercooler Core - Subaru Impreza WRX/STI (GD/GG)
This is the core from COBB's front mount intercooler kit for the 2004-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX and WRX STI, sold on its own for cars that already have piping or need custom-routed pipes. Moving to a front mount core gets around the heat soak of the factory top mount intercooler, keeping intake temperatures and power more consistent. It is a 762 x 263 x 89mm (30" x 10.35" x 3.5") bar and plate core with cast end tanks carrying the COBB logo.
Two finishes are available: silver or black heat-dissipating coating.
Note: Core only: it needs the COBB hot and cold pipes or custom 64mm (2.5") piping. Installation by a professional is recommended.
