COBB AMS Front Mount Intercooler - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (CZ4A)

This AMS Performance front mount intercooler, sold through COBB, is a direct replacement for the factory core on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. It has over 80% more internal flow area than the stock intercooler for cooler, denser intake air, and it uses the factory piping, crash beam and mounting points. AMS recorded a 10 wheel horsepower gain on a stock Evo X just by fitting it, with no retune.

Note: Works with the factory intercooler piping or the COBB hard pipe kit. No cutting or trimming is required. Installation by a professional is recommended.

Features

• Bar and plate core, 315mm (12.4") tall, 508mm (20") wide and 89mm (3.5") thick
• Cast A356-T6 aluminium end tanks with gusseted brackets
• Angled inlet like the factory unit for a proper fit with the intercooler piping
• Hand TIG welded in a jig and pressure tested to 345 kPa (50 psi)
• Core flows 1250 cfm with a 1 psi pressure drop at 650 whp
• Uses the factory hangers plus added supports, and can be returned to stock
