The aFe Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake replaces the factory airbox on the Toyota GR Corolla (GZEA14) with the 1.6L turbo three-cylinder. A one-piece sealed XLPE housing keeps the factory air scoop and holds a big 9in (229mm) tall radial flow filter on a 3.5in (89mm) flange, with a clear window to check it.

An auxiliary inlet can pull in extra air or be closed with the supplied plug. A dyno-tuned XLPE tube and a silicone tube feed the turbo, held with stainless clamps and black anodised aluminium studs. aFe's dyno testing shows +19 kW (+25 hp) and +28 Nm with Pro 5R (28% more flow) and +13 kW (+17 hp) and +19 Nm with Pro DRY S (22% more flow).

Options: Pro DRY S is a dry, oil-free three-layer synthetic media that washes with soap and water, best for street use. Pro 5R is an oiled, five-layer cotton gauze media for the most airflow. The Orange Edition uses an orange housing with the Pro DRY S filter.

Note: aFe lists this kit for the GR Corolla. An optional aFe Dynamic Air Scoop (56-70065S) is sold separately. Installation by a professional is recommended.
