It takes the GT3's 3.8L naturally aspirated Mezger flat six, rear-wheel drive and six-speed manual, and adds a wider, lighter and more track-ready body. Popular upgrades for the GT3 RS

Track suspension: Öhlins R&T, MOTON and AST coilovers for the 997 GT cars, with SPL and HARDRACE adjustable caster, camber and toe arms.
Links and bushings: SPL dogbone links, end links, solid subframe bushings and eccentric lockout kits, HARDRACE tie rod ends and Torque Solution drop links.
Engine and tuning: GSC Power-Division exhaust camshafts, valve guides and valve stem seals, and the COBB Accessport V3 for the GT3 and GT3 RS.

Choosing the Right Part

RS or GT3: most parts here are listed for both the GT3 and GT3 RS. Check the title names your car.
Brake calipers: Frenkit front kits are made in two piston sizes, so match them to your calipers.
Road or track: solid bushings and pillow ball arms add noise and harshness on the road. Choose to suit how you use the car.

Installation

Fit suspension, brake and drivetrain parts at a qualified workshop, and leave engine internals to a Mezger specialist. Get a wheel alignment after any suspension change. Always follow the maker's instructions and torque settings.
