Choosing the Right Part
Connection type: Identify each port and line before ordering, whether it is AN flare, AN ORB, NPT, metric, spring lock, SAE EFI quick connect or hose barb. Adapters are listed by both ends, for example "AN ORB to Female 1/8" NPT".
Size: Match the dash size (for example 6AN, 8AN or 10AN), the thread size (for example 1/8" NPT), the quick connect size (5/16", 3/8" or 10mm) or the barb size (for example 3/16" / 4.8mm or 5mm). The options available are shown on each product page.
Hose and hose end: PushLok and PTFE hose ends are made for different hose types, so choose hose ends that suit the hose you're running. For fuel or breather lines, check the listing for fuel compatibility. Radium's reinforced PCV/fuel hose is listed as E85 safe.
Vehicle-specific parts: Most fittings are universal. Some are made for particular vehicles, such as Radium press-in fittings for Toyota and Nissan valve covers, the PRL Motorsports silicone intake hose kit for the Honda Civic Type R (FL5) and the Mishimoto silicone BOV return hose for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (CZ4A).
Installation & What You'll Need
Installation by a professional is recommended, particularly for fuel system work. Before you start, confirm that every connection type and size in the line matches. Check whether you need a plug or cap for any unused port. Plan for hose clamps wherever hose is pushed onto a barb or spigot, and have the correct spanners on hand for the fitting sizes being used. Check each product page for any fitment conditions before ordering.
FAQ
What is the difference between AN flare and AN ORB fittings? AN flare fittings seal on a flared cone between the fitting and the mating part. AN ORB (O-ring boss) fittings screw into a straight-thread port and seal with an O-ring.
Are these fittings universal? Most are universal. A few are vehicle-specific, including valve cover press-in fittings for Toyota and Nissan and silicone hose kits for the Honda Civic Type R (FL5) and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (CZ4A).
Do you have hose suitable for E85? Yes. The range includes Radium Engineering E85 Safe Reinforced PCV/Fuel Hose. Check each product listing for fuel compatibility.
How do I connect an AN line to a factory EFI quick connect? Use an adapter with an AN end on one side and an SAE EFI quick connect on the other, such as the SAE EFI quick connect to AN male fittings or the AN ORB to SAE male EFI quick connect fittings.
