BMW M4 F82 / F83 Performance Parts & Upgrades

The BMW M4 F82 coupe arrived in Australia in 2014 and the F83 convertible followed later that year, with both on sale until 2020. Every version uses the S55 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six and rear-wheel drive, and the coupe range included the Competition, GTS and CS. Suspension: AST and Öhlins coilovers, AST springs and camber top mounts, Suspension Secrets and SPL arms and links and Dinan sway bars.
Brakes: Alcon, AP Racing, Brembo and Dinan big brake kits, Paragon replacement rotors and shims, HEL lines and Frenkit rebuild kits.
Exhaust: AWE Exhaust Suite, Dinan axle-backs and X-pipe, and Scorpion downpipes, sports cats and tunnel brace.

Choosing the Right Part

GTS and CS: these have their own bodywork details, so check aero and body parts with us before ordering. Engine and brake parts mostly carry over.
Coupe or convertible: most parts fit both, but aero and some chassis parts are listed for the F82 coupe only.
Coilovers or springs: AST adjustable springs keep the factory dampers, while coilovers replace them. Cars with adaptive dampers need the Öhlins EDC cancellation kit with coilovers.

Installation

Have a qualified workshop fit suspension, brake, cooling and engine parts. Some engine and exhaust upgrades need a tune to suit, so ask us if unsure. Get a wheel alignment after any suspension change, and bleed and road-test the brakes after brake work.
