Blow Off Valves

Blow off valves stop compressor surge when the throttle shuts, protecting the turbo and keeping boost response sharp between shifts. Our range covers atmospheric, recirculating and dual-port designs from the brands turbo owners actually ask for. Customers fit them to daily-driven street cars through to dedicated track and time attack builds.

Popular platforms in this range include the Subaru WRX and STI, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla, Nissan Silvia and Skyline, Mazda 3 MPS, Ford Focus/Falcon turbo models, and VW/Audi EA888 and BMW N54/N55/B58 applications. Universal weld-on and flange-mount valves suit custom turbo setups.

Why Blow Off Valves

A quality valve holds boost under load and opens cleanly off-throttle, which is where cheap units fall down. Piston-style valves handle higher boost with less creep; diaphragm designs tend to be quieter and more sensitive at low boost. Dual-port units split the flow so you keep some induction noise while still recirculating enough air to stay tune-friendly.

Fitment & Installation

Check whether your car meters air before the turbo. MAF-based cars (many Subaru, VW/Audi and Nissan setups) can run rich, stumble or stall on full atmospheric venting, so a recirculating or dual-port valve is usually the safer choice unless the car is tuned for it. Most installs need the correct flange or adapter, a vacuum source, clamps and silicone joiners. Spring preload should be set for your boost target after fitting.

FAQ

Will an atmospheric valve make my car stall? It can on MAF-metered cars, because the metered air vents to atmosphere. Recirculating or dual-port valves avoid this.

Do I need a tune? Not usually for a like-for-like recirculating valve. Atmospheric venting on a MAF car often needs tuning to drive properly.

Is a blow off valve the same as a diverter valve? Same job, different outlet. A diverter valve returns air to the intake; a blow off valve can vent to air.

Do you ship Australia-wide? Yes, we ship nationwide, and all products carry their manufacturer's warranty.
