Audi S3 8V (facelift) Performance Parts & Upgrades
The facelifted Audi S3 8V was sold new in Australia from late 2016 to 2021. It uses the 2.0 TFSI EA888 turbo four with quattro all-wheel drive on the MQB platform, which it shares with the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R, so many engine and suspension parts cross over. Choosing the Right Part
- Gearbox: drivetrain parts such as the Wavetrac diff and APR pendulum mount are listed for the DQ381 7-speed DSG. Check your gearbox before ordering.
- Shared Golf parts: many MQB parts are listed by Golf GTI and Golf R codes. They fit the S3 where the S3 8V is named in the title.
- Magnetic ride: cars with magnetic ride need APR's control unit or an EDC cancellation kit when fitting coilovers.
Installation
Have a qualified workshop fit turbo, fuel, suspension and brake parts. Turbo, intake, intercooler and fuel upgrades need a tune, such as a COBB or APR tune, to run properly. Get a wheel alignment after suspension work, and bleed and road-test the brakes after brake work.
