APR Braided Brake Line Set - Audi RS3 (8V) / Volkswagen Golf R (5G/CD) - Rear
APR builds its brake line upgrades to replace the factory rubber hoses that expand and degrade over time, giving a firmer, more consistent pedal. This rear set is designed for the Audi RS3 and Volkswagen Golf R, using braided stainless steel construction with a PTFE core to virtually eliminate hose expansion under hard braking.
This listing covers the Audi RS3 (8V) and Volkswagen Golf R (5G/CD), application specific for a direct fit with no adapters or extra leak points. SKU: BRK00051.
Specifications
- 304 stainless steel braided lines with smooth bore PTFE core
- Smoked clear PVC outer jacket with red anodised inserts
- Cr3+ steel connectors
- Tested to 207 bar (3,000 psi) prior to sale
- Independently rated as SAE low expansion lines: approximately 0.23 mL/m at 69 bar (1,000 psi) and 0.36 mL/m at 200 bar (2,900 psi)
- Compatible with DOT 3, 4, 5 and 5.1 brake fluids
- Rear axle set, application specific length and fittings
