Radium Engineering MPFST-R Multi-Pump Fuel Surge Tank (Regulated) - Universal

The Radium Engineering MPFST-R is a universal multi-pump fuel surge tank with a built-in fuel pressure regulator, designed to stop fuel starvation on vehicles with inadequate tank baffling under hard cornering, braking or acceleration. A lift pump (usually the OEM in-tank pump) keeps the surge tank supplied, and the fuel it holds keeps the surge tank pumps fed even if the lift pump starves momentarily.

How does a RADIUM Fuel Surge Tank work?

Because the built-in regulator returns low-pressure fuel straight into the tank, there is no external regulator return line, and excess fuel is returned to the main tank. The tank accepts one, two or three pumps (sold separately); use the variant selector to choose the version to suit Walbro GSS342 / AEM 50-1200 / 50-1220 pumps (SKU 20-1445), Bosch BR540 / DeatschWerks DW400 pumps (SKU 20-1446) or Walbro F90000267 / 274 / 285 / 295 pumps (SKU 20-1447).

Note: Fuel pumps are not included and must match the version chosen. The surge tank is also a simple way to upgrade a fuel system for forced induction without opening the factory fuel tank. Installation by a professional is recommended.

• Built-in RA-series regulator with tool-less, detented adjustment (about 1 psi per detent)
• 360-degree swivelling, double O-ring sealed vacuum reference port – 1:1 capable
• Four interchangeable 10-32 vacuum port fittings (barbed, 3AN, push-connect, plug)
• Accepts 1, 2 or 3 internal fuel pumps
• Merged high-pressure outlet via 8AN male (10AN ORB port); pre-installed 6AN adapters for supply, return and overflow
• Internal swirl pot and stainless mesh pre-pump filtration in each pump well
• 1/8" NPT fuel pressure port (plug supplied) for a gauge or sensor
• High-current anti-rotation electrical studs; compatible with all fuels including E85 and methanol
