Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Dual Catch Can Kit (CCV) Nissan GT-R (R35)

The Radium Engineering Dual Catch Can Kit for the Nissan R35 GT-R is designed to retain factory functionality while effectively managing crankcase vapours. The two CCV catch cans run inline between each crankcase vent (CCV) port and the corresponding turbo inlets. This system works to prevent the buildup of oil and sludge in the intake system, particularly during high-load (WOT) conditions.

At low loads, these catch cans experience atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is at high load, the CCV vents experience high flow out of the crankcase. Without this system, oil and sludge would accumulate in the air filter intake pipe and intercooler, lowering the thermal efficiency of the heat exchanger and reducing performance. The dual CCV catch can kit ensures cleaner intake air and improved engine performance.
