The Radium Engineering Fluid Lock catch can kit (SKU 20-0373-FL) is designed specifically for BMW models powered by the N54 twin-turbo engine – the 135i, 335i and 535i. It separates oil and water condensation from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, keeping the intercooler, throttle body and intake manifold free of oil build-up and helping maintain effective octane.

How to Install Radium Catch Can for BMW N54 135i

The kit bolts to the OEM power steering reservoir mount with no cutting or drilling, and N54-specific billet 10AN adapter fittings mean the OEM vent tubing does not need to be modified. It is a sealed, closed-loop system that does not vent to atmosphere, and Radium's patented Fluid Lock mechanism stops the reservoir overfilling and holds collected fluid until it is emptied.

Note: There is no set emptying interval – check the level with the integrated dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and adjust from there. Excessive oil collection can point to an engine issue such as blow-by, an overfilled sump or a PCV valve leaking under load. Installation by a professional is recommended.
