Radium Engineering FHST - Nissan 370Z (Z34)

The Radium Engineering FHST (fuel hanger surge tank) solves fuel starvation in the Nissan 370Z (Z34). The saddle-bag OEM tank and limited baffling let fuel slosh away from the pickup under hard driving, causing unstable fuel pressure and lean running, while the open-cabin layout makes a stand-alone surge tank hard to fit. Radium's answer is a fully functional surge tank that installs inside the OEM tank with no grinding, bending or sheet-metal modification.

The FHST sits on the opposite side of the tank to the OEM fuel module. An upgraded pump in the OEM module keeps the FHST collector box full, the OEM venturi jet pumps keep scavenging, and 355LPH one-way fill valves let fuel in but not out. One or two FHST pumps then feed the engine through an integrated, adjustable 1:1 fuel pressure regulator. Use the variant selector to match your pumps: 20-1820 for Walbro GSS342 / AEM 50-1200, 20-1822 for Walbro F90000267/274/285, or 20-1821 for the Ti Automotive E5LM brushless pump.

Note: Fuel pumps are sold separately. The OEM venturi system must be retained and the OEM module pump upgraded to at least 340LPH at 40psi; do not modify the OEM FPR or venturi jet pump. Fuel may distribute unevenly, which can affect fuel level readings. Conversion to a return-style system requires Radium 20-0806 and a low-profile 6AN ORB fitting. Installation by a professional is recommended.
