Crankcase Ventilation Upgrade for Naturally Aspirated & Forced Induction Builds
Excess crankcase blow-by during spirited driving can lead to oil-saturated vapors re-entering the intake, reducing combustion efficiency and overall performance. Radium’s VTE (Vent to Engine) system solves this by combining a billet baffled oil cap with an O-ring sealed PCV valve, restoring proper crankcase function and helping maintain clean intake airflow.
Key Features:
-
CNC-machined anodized aluminum VTE oil cap with integrated air/oil separator
-
Internal stainless steel baffle to condense and trap oil vapors
-
Service-free design – no catch can or draining required
-
O-ring sealed billet PCV valve included
-
Blocks intake pressure from entering crankcase
-
Backfire-safe – prevents ignition of crankcase vapors
-
Helps maintain engine sealing under boost by restoring vacuum to the crankcase
Engine Compatibility:
-
LS Engines: LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4, LS6, LS7, LS9, LSA, L76, L99, L9H
-
LT Engines: LT1, LT2, LT4, LT5
-
Additional GM V8s may be compatible
Why It Matters:
-
Gen IV LS (2005–2013): Reintroduces a true PCV system for boosted and NA setups
-
Gen III LS (1997–2004): Replaces aging plastic PCV parts with billet components
-
Improves octane quality of intake charge by removing oil vapor from airflow
-
Prevents crankcase pressurization under boost – a common issue in turbo and supercharged builds
An easy-to-install, maintenance-free solution that enhances performance, engine longevity, and crankcase health on LS and LT platforms.
