Radium Engineering Baffled Oil Cap VTE Kit - GM

The Radium Engineering Baffled Oil Cap VTE (vent to engine) kit (SKU 20-0587) is a direct replacement for the OEM oil cap on GM LS and LT V8 engines. It pairs an anodised billet aluminium oil cap containing an air/oil separator with a new billet, O-ring sealed PCV valve to keep oil-laden crankcase vapour out of the intake.

On Gen IV LS engines (2005–2013) the kit reintroduces a true PCV system – important on turbocharged or centrifugal-supercharged builds, where the crankcase will otherwise pressurise and cause sealing problems. The PCV valve restores crankcase vacuum, only meters air into the intake and blocks intake pressure from entering the crankcase. On Gen III LS engines (1997–2004) it replaces the ageing, brittle plastic PCV valve with a billet unit and adds service-free air/oil separation.

Note: Confirmed for LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4, LS6, LS7, LS9, LSA, L76, L99, L9H, LT1, LT2, LT4 and LT5 engines; other GM V8s may also suit – check with us before ordering. The system routes filtered vapour back into the engine rather than venting to atmosphere. Installation by a professional is recommended.
