PRL Motorsports Intercooler Upgrade Raw - Honda Civic Type R (FK8)
Honda's 2.0 litre turbo engine in the Civic Type R is known for heat soak once you start pushing it hard, and the factory intercooler struggles to keep charge temperatures in check. PRL Motorsports built this raw finish intercooler upgrade (SKU PRL-HCR-IC) to tackle that problem directly, using a larger bar-and-plate core and billet aluminium end tanks to move more air and shed heat faster.
This listing covers the Honda Civic Type R (FK8). The kit bolts straight into the factory mounting locations and reuses the OEM air ducts and shrouds, so there's no cutting, trimming, or fitting involved. All hardware required for installation is included.
