PRL Motorsports builds its intake systems around real airflow engineering rather than just a bigger filter. The High Volume Intake System for the Honda Civic Type R pairs a rotomolded airbox with a two piece MAF housing and velocity stack design, aimed at maximising airflow while keeping fuel trims stable and factory-like.

This listing covers all 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R FK8 models, including RHD and other international variants, provided the factory turbocharger inlet pipe is retained. The kit is available in Standard Bore and Big Bore MAF housing options via the variant selector above, so choose the version that matches your power goals and tuning setup.

Important: the Standard Bore MAF housing requires no ECU recalibration, but the Big Bore MAF housing is a MAF specific calibration item and requires a compatible tune before use. Big Bore is intended for builds targeting over 450hp.
