GFB built the WGA to solve the boost control problems that plague turbo systems still running an internal wastegate. Featuring an industry first Nomex reinforced diaphragm and a PEEK pivoting rod guide, it delivers more control authority in a shorter, more compact housing. For the Mitsubishi Evo 9 (CT9A) running the factory turbo, this actuator sharpens spool up, reduces boost taper at high RPM, and gives a far more stable boost curve than the factory unit.

This listing covers SKU 7302, a direct bolt on unit specifically designed for the Mitsubishi Evo 9 with the OEM turbo. It comes fitted with the 69 kPa (10psi) and 48 kPa (7psi) springs installed for a base pressure of around 117 kPa (17psi), with a 34 kPa (5psi) spring included for further tuning.

Important: this is a tuning tool, not a plug and play part. It will increase boost pressure beyond factory settings, so a professional retune is required after installation.
