GFB built the WGA to solve the classic problem faced by anyone pushing more boost through a factory internal wastegate: boost taper, unstable curves, and a wastegate that simply can't keep up. Designed for the Mitsubishi Evo 4-8 running its factory turbo, the WGA replaces the OEM actuator with a compact, highly adjustable unit that gives you real control authority over the wastegate flap.

This listing covers the Mitsubishi Evo 4, Evo 5, Evo 6, Evo 7 and Evo 8, spanning the CN9A, CP9A and CT9A chassis codes, all fitted with the factory turbocharger.

Important: the WGA is a tuning tool, not just a bolt-on replacement. It will increase boost pressure over stock and tuning is required to run it safely.

• Nomex-reinforced silicone diaphragm for maximum control authority in the smallest possible housing
• 18mm of rod travel — the longest stroke in its class for larger internal wastegates or extra boost range
• PEEK machined pivoting rod guide for low friction and long term wear resistance
• Turnbuckle adjustment allows fine tuning of base boost pressure in minutes, without swapping springs
• Three stainless steel springs supplied, adjustable from 5 psi to 22 psi in combination
• Part #7301 ships with 10 psi and 7 psi springs fitted for a 17 psi base pressure, plus a 5 psi spring included for further tuning
