Borla makes cat-back and axle-back systems for a range of platforms we see regularly, including Golf R (Mk7/Mk7.5), Focus RS, Kia Stinger, Audi S3, and the Nissan Z. We don't currently have separate sub-collection pages for each of these models, so everything sits in this main Borla range. The Borla range we deal with splits into a few families:

• ATAK: the loudest option in the lineup. Aggressive under load, still has some bite at idle. Suits owners who want the exhaust heard, not just felt.
• S-Type: the middle ground most buyers land on. Noticeable growl on acceleration, settles down at cruise. Good all-rounder for a daily that still gets track days.
• Touring: the quietest, deepest note in the range. Suits a Stinger or Audi S3 owner who wants a bit more depth without turning heads at every set of lights.
• Cat-back and axle-back systems: mandrel-bent T-304 stainless, designed to bolt onto the factory hangers and flanges.

For the Focus RS and Golf R crowd specifically, S-Type tends to be the popular pick, loud enough to be worth the swap, civil enough for the daily commute. Stinger and Audi S3 owners more often go Touring or S-Type depending on how much attention they want. Nissan Z owners running ATAK report a proper V6 soundtrack, but it's genuinely loud, worth a test listen on YouTube or in person before committing if you're noise-sensitive.

We stock Borla because the fitment is genuinely bolt-on for the platforms it covers, and the stainless construction holds up well to Australian conditions, road salt on the coast, heat cycling inland. It's not the cheapest option on the market, but the mandrel-bent piping and consistent QC mean we're not sending customers back parts that don't line up.

For a car like the Focus RS or Golf R that already has a bit of turbo flutter and induction noise from other mods, an S-Type or ATAK system rounds out the aural package nicely instead of just adding volume for the sake of it.

Borla systems are designed around US-spec factory exhausts in most cases, so if your car is AU-delivered, double check the product listing matches your local variant before buying, particularly around resonator delete sections and rear valance clearance on Golf R and Focus RS. Most installs bolt to factory hangers with no cutting required, but on some Stinger and Audi S3 fitments the mid-pipe section can sit close to the diffuser or heat shields, so a shop familiar with the platform is worth having for the install.
