Supertech Beehive Valve Spring Kit 65 lb - Subaru EJ20 / EJ25 Turbo - WRX / WRX STI
Supertech beehive valve spring kit for the turbocharged EJ20 and EJ25 DOHC engines in the Subaru WRX and WRX STI, Forester GT / XT and Liberty GT. It is a matched set of 16 springs, retainers and spring seat locators, rated at 65 lb @ 35.6mm on the seat and 211 lb @ 11.5mm open, for camshafts up to 14.20mm of valve lift. The beehive spring tapers at the top, so it runs a smaller, lighter retainer and controls the valve well at high rpm.
Note: Not for the 2015-on WRX (VA), which has the FA20 engine. Check spring installed height and coil bind against your camshaft before fitting. Installation by a professional engine builder is recommended.
