The SPL Parts Front Lower Control Arm Kit (FLCAK) for the Porsche 991/981/982 platforms delivers a significant upgrade in front-end grip, steering precision, and braking stability. By replacing the factory rubber bushings with PTFE-lined, motorsport-grade FK spherical bearings, this kit eliminates bushing deflection, prevents camber loss, and provides a more direct and consistent suspension response.

Designed for both road and track applications, the kit offers fully adjustable camber, caster, track width, roll center, and anti-dive geometry—allowing you to fine-tune the vehicle’s front suspension characteristics to suit different tyres, aero setups, spring rates, or driving styles.

Technical Overview

Camber Adjustment

Increased negative camber dramatically improves front-end lateral grip and helps reduce outer-edge tyre wear during aggressive cornering. The adjustable lower arms allow precise camber control without relying on eccentric bolts or slipping camber plates.

Caster Adjustment

Adjustable caster increases dynamic camber gain during steering input and enhances straight-line stability. It also helps resolve wheel-to-bumper clearance issues when running wider tyres.

Track Width Adjustment

Extending the front track width improves balance and reduces load on the outer tyre. With the SPL lower control arm and tension arm combination, you can safely increase track width while maintaining ideal camber settings.

Roll Center Adjustment

Lowered Porsche models often suffer from a reduced roll center, increasing body roll. The included roll-center correction spacers restore proper geometry, improving front-end response without requiring stiffer springs.

Anti-Dive Adjustment

Fine-tune the anti-dive characteristics to reduce excessive nose-dive under heavy braking—especially important for high-grip tyre setups, aero-loaded cars, or bumpy tracks.

NVH Information

Replacing all factory rubber bushings with spherical bearings will increase road feedback, vibration, and steering precision—similar to the feel of a Porsche GT3 or GT4. Ride quality will vary depending on tyres, pressures, and damper setup. This kit remains suitable for dual street/track use.
