Speed Engineering Front Brake Cooling Kit – BMW G8X M2/M3/M4

The Speed Engineering Front Brake Cooling Kit for the BMW G8X platform is designed for serious track enthusiasts who demand maximum thermal stability and braking consistency. This is the full track-spec kit, offering greater efficiency and durability compared to the simpler Clubsport version (SKU SE-14311). Both systems can also be combined for even greater cooling performance.

Air Duct Inlet

The G80/G82/G87 platform features OEM bumper inlets, but these terminate mid–wheel arch, causing airflow to disperse inefficiently. Speed Engineering’s redesigned inlet duct replaces the factory insert and delivers focused airflow to the brake outlet via a high-temperature hose routed around the wheel. Installation is completely tool-free and fully reversible, using the same mounting points as the OEM components.

Air Duct Outlet

This system channels airflow directly to the centre of the brake disc, maximising the turbine effect for internal rotor cooling. The outlet plate is engineered to direct air at a precise angle to minimise scattering and ensure the highest possible cooling efficiency. Constructed from lightweight, powder-coated aluminium, it offers excellent thermal resistance and protects nearby wheel bearings from excessive heat exposure—ideal for both heavy track use and spirited road driving.
