Siruda Exhaust Manifold Gasket - Subaru WRX / WRX STI (GC8 / GD / GE / GH / GR / GV / VA) / Forester (SF / SG / SH) - EJ Series

The Siruda exhaust manifold gasket seals the joint between the cylinder head and exhaust manifold on the EJ Series engine in the EJ18, EJ20 and EJ25 Subaru WRX, WRX STI, Impreza, Forester and Liberty. Fit a new one whenever the joint is undone, and when fitting a performance manifold or turbo.

It is 1.2 mm thick.

Siruda's grommet design puts a metal grommet around each bore to hold back combustion gas under high cylinder pressure, including the spikes that come with knock. The grommets are molybdenum coated to limit scuffing of the head and block faces, and a nitrile rubber coating on the gasket surface helps seal the coolant and oil passages.
