RV6 spent almost two years and three revisions developing the R660AS, moving away from the factory TD04 style turbo format to solve the reliability issues that come with pushing big power through a small OE housing. Built around an oversized TD05 bearing housing with a full sized 8mm ceramic ball bearing, the R660AS is engineered for spool response and durability rather than just peak numbers, making it a serious upgrade for the Honda Civic Type R.

This listing covers the Honda Civic Type R FK8 and Honda Civic Type R FL5 2.0T platforms. The turbo is available with either the RV6 Matte 3K Twill Carbon inlet pipe or the RV6 Glossy 3K Twill Carbon inlet pipe — select your preferred finish using the variant options on this listing.

Important: The included carbon fibre inlet pipe is only compatible with a PRL race/big bore MAF housing. This turbo requires the factory FK8/FL5/DE5 wastegate actuator, and RV6 mandates a minimum engine oil viscosity of 0W-30 or 5W-30 — running a non-compliant oil grade can void your warranty.
