The Radium Engineering FPRD-RA is a high-performance fuel pressure regulator featuring an integrated 1:1 fuel pulse damper. Designed for motorsport and high-performance street applications, it delivers outstanding pressure control, broad fuel compatibility, and versatile installation options.

Whether upgrading for race use, E85, or high-boost builds, the FPRD-RA offers unmatched reliability, compact mounting flexibility, and innovative tool-less adjustment.

Key Features

  • Compact Mounting: Two M6x1mm threaded mounting holes with an anodised aluminium bracket included. Can be mounted in any orientation, including upside down.

  • Flexible Plumbing: Large 10AN ORB ports for side inlet and bottom outlet. Includes -6AN and -8AN male adapter fittings for easy system integration.

  • Auxiliary Port: 1/8" NPT port for optional fuel pressure or temperature sensors. Pre-impregnated PTFE plug included.

  • Fuel Pulse Damper: Integrated 1:1 damper stabilises pressure fluctuations from pumps, injectors, and rails.

  • Tool-less Pressure Adjustment: External adjustment knob with incremental detents for precision tuning (1 psi per click).

  • 360° Swivelling Vacuum Port: Industry-first design with a double O-ring seal. No tools required for repositioning.

  • Wide Fuel Compatibility: Compatible with all types of petrol (unleaded, leaded, oxygenated) and alcohol-based fuels including E85 and methanol.

  • Optimised Pressure Stability: Stainless steel return orifice enhances laminar flow and maintains consistent pressure.

Pressure Range

  • Minimum Pressure: 18.5 psi (1.3 bar)

  • Maximum Pressure: Dependent on the fuel pump’s relief valve or controller settings.

Fuel System Notes

  • Must be installed after the fuel rail (not suitable for dead-head systems).

  • For dead-head applications, use Radium’s Multi-Port Regulator (MPR).

  • Medium-strength threadlocker is recommended for vacuum fitting installation.

  • Not intended for use on the low-pressure side of mechanical fuel pumps.
