Radium Engineering V2 FPD-R Fuel Pulse Damper - Universal - 8AN ORB

The Radium Engineering 20-0776 V2 FPD-R is a compact fuel pulse damper for high-performance and boosted fuel systems. Injectors opening and closing send pressure pulses through the fuel rail; the FPD-R's internal diaphragm absorbs them to stabilise rail pressure across the rev range, helping cure idle surge and the erratic lean spikes and stumbling that are hard to tune out, especially with high-flow injectors.

Unlike basic dampers, Radium FPDs have a vacuum/boost reference port so they keep working properly as fuel pressure rises under boost with a 1:1 rising-rate regulator. The V2 design swivels freely even after tightening, so the reference port can be clocked through 360° for easy routing, and the shorter body than the FPD-XR suits tight engine bays. It can be mounted at any angle, including upside down, and is best fitted directly to the fuel rail.

Note: Set base static pressure within 40–70psi and connect the vacuum/boost reference line; for higher base pressures use the 20-0777 FPD-XR (40–105psi). Pulse dampers cannot be used with mechanical fuel pumps or direct injection, as those pulses will rupture the diaphragm. Installation by a professional is recommended.
