Radium Engineering Saddle Tank Fuel Cell Conversion Kit - Universal

The Radium Engineering saddle tank conversion kit is a fuel transfer system that lets two motorsport fuel cells work together in one vehicle (SKU 20-0664). Splitting fuel across two cells increases carrying capacity and lets you position the cells for better weight distribution and a lower centre of gravity.

The system is built around the Radium FCST-X as the central surge tank and works with both standard and dry break refuelling, with 1.5" ID tubing included. One or two Radium fuel level senders are recommended; two 0-90 ohm senders wired in series give a 0 (empty) to 180 (full) ohm range, or can be wired to separate ECU inputs so the passive-side lift pump switches off when that cell is empty. A Radium 20-0461 fuel level switch in the surge tank's 1/8" NPT port can also switch the active-side lift pump off when the surge tank is full.

Note: Requires two Radium fuel cells (capacities can differ, but the top flanges must sit at the same height), a Radium FCST-X (earlier non-X FCST units are not compatible), at least three fuel pumps (two lift pumps with built-in outlet check valves plus one surge tank pump), and a remote filler and vent kit or remote mount refuelling kit. All sold separately. Installation by a professional is recommended.
