Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit (LHD Only) - BMW M3 (E46)

This Radium Engineering Fluid Lock catch can kit (SKU 20-0073-FL) is a direct-fit crankcase ventilation upgrade for left-hand-drive BMW E46 M3 and M3 CSL models. It captures oil and water condensation from the crankcase gases before they reach the intake, helping keep the intake manifold, throttle body and intake tract free of oil build-up.

The kit mounts in the right-hand rear compartment of the engine bay near the firewall and suits both early cars with the ABS module in that compartment and later cars with the secondary PCV system. The Fluid Lock design is fully sealed and recirculating (no vent to atmosphere), and its patented mechanism stops the reservoir overfilling, trapping collected fluid until the can is emptied.

Note: Designed for left-hand-drive vehicles only. Radium states it is not compatible with right-hand-drive models because of its mounting location, so Australian-delivered RHD cars will need bracket modification. Check the fluid level with the dipstick from around 3-4 weeks of driving to work out a service interval. Installation by a professional is recommended.
