This Radium Engineering Fluid Lock CCV catch can is an add-on for the Radium 20-1336-FL PCV catch can kit on the 1998-2005 Mazda MX-5 (NB) (SKU 20-1337-FL). It mounts to the PCV kit's existing bracket and sits inline between the crankcase vent port and the intake pipe.

Under high load and wide open throttle this line carries heavy blow-by, and the can intercepts oil mist and vapour before it coats the intake tract. At low load it simply sees atmospheric pressure. It is a closed-loop system that does not vent to atmosphere.

Note: Requires the Radium 20-1336-FL PCV catch can kit. Not compatible with 1989-1997 NA models due to space limitations. Installation by a professional is recommended.
