PRACWORKS Intake Manifold Plenum – Polished Red Honda Civic Type R FK8 / FL5

The PracWorks Intake Manifold Plenum for the Honda Civic Type R FK8 and FL5 is a complete plug-and-play upgrade engineered for significant mid-range and top-end gains. Designed to outperform the restrictive factory manifold, this polished red plenum delivers measurable increases in power and throttle response without requiring tuning on a stock vehicle.

Dyno testing shows gains of 25–30hp in the mid-range and 10–15hp at peak on a completely stock FK8, thanks to the long-runner design and optimised 2.665L plenum volume. The intake manifold is constructed from prepreg carbon fibre with billet 6061-T6 flanges, offering exceptional strength while minimising heat soak—carbon fibre is 40× less thermally conductive than aluminium.

Designed for both street and track applications, this manifold retains the OEM throttle body position and bolt pattern, supports up to 70psi of boost, and is compatible with +2mm oversized throttle bodies. Installation is fully reversible and takes approximately four hours. Suitable for both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles.
