PERRIN Top Mount Oil Cooler Kit - Subaru WRX (VA / VB / VN)
The PERRIN Top Mount Oil Cooler Kit fits a dedicated air-to-oil cooler on top of the engine of the 2015-on Subaru WRX (VA / VB / VN). It replaces the factory coolant-fed oil cooler, so oil heat is shed to the air rather than into the cooling system, helping keep oil temperatures in check on track days, long climbs and hot days.

An 8-row, 250mm wide PERRIN core sits on brackets above the engine and is fed by -10AN lines from a Mocal sandwich adapter with an 85°C (185°F) thermostat. Oil bypasses the cooler until it is warm, so the engine still warms up quickly. The oil filter spacer has two 1/8 in NPT ports for oil temperature or pressure sensors.
Note: Replaces the factory oil cooler/warmer; the coolant hoses are joined to bypass it. Engine oil and coolant will need topping up after fitting. Installation by a professional is recommended.
