A set of four H-beam connecting rods for the Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 boxer, as used in the Impreza WRX and STI, WRX STI, Forester GT/XT and Liberty GT. They are a sensible step up from factory rods for mid-level street and weekend track builds.

One length suits both engines: 130.5 mm centre to centre, the same as the factory EJ rod, so they work with standard-stroke or Nitto stroker builds that use a 130.5 mm rod.

Every Nitto steel rod starts as double-melted 4340 billet, a cleaner material than the single-melt steel common in the aftermarket, and is forged as one piece for a consistent grain structure. The H-beam is Nitto's value option: a simpler design to machine that keeps the price down for builds that need more strength than stock but not the heavy-duty margin of an I-beam.

Note: Installation by a professional is recommended. Engine internals must be measured and set up by a qualified engine builder.

• Quenched, heat treated and shot peened (38 HRC)
• Doweled caps for accurate cap alignment
• ARP 2000 rod bolts, 3/8", with an optional ARP Custom Age 625+ bolt upgrade
• Silicon bronze pin-end bushes
• Balanced to within ±1 gram per set, bores held to ±0.0001"
• Big and pin ends sized on Sunnen hones with diamond tooling; 100% CNC profiled, drilled and tapped

Nitto parts are built for racing and off-road use. Inspect every part during assembly and blueprinting, and contact us before fitting if anything measures outside tolerance.
