This Stage 1+ Drivetrain Package bundles everything you need to transform the shifting experience in your Subaru WRX/STI — tightening up slop, reducing throw, and adding a quality weighted knob that makes every gear change feel more connected.

This listing covers the Subaru WRX and STI on the GC8 platform (1994–2000) with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The package includes a choice of narrow or wide barrel shifter depending on your fork width — see the important note below.

Important: Before ordering, measure your shifter fork width. A 29mm (1.155 in) fork requires the Narrow Barrel Shifter. A 36.5mm (1.435 in) fork requires the Wide Barrel or Tall Wide Barrel Shifter. Selecting the wrong barrel will result in an incorrect fit.

• Firmer polyurethane bushings reduce shifter slop caused by soft factory rubber
