COBB 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid - Subaru Impreza WRX/STI (GE/GH/GR/GV) / WRX STI (VA) / Liberty GT (BL/BP)

The COBB 3-port boost control solenoid replaces the factory solenoid on EJ-powered Subarus, giving the factory ECU more precise and flexible boost control. COBB lists the Impreza WRX and WRX STI (GE/GH/GR/GV), the WRX STI (VA), the Liberty GT (BL/BP), the Outback XT (BP) and the Forester XT (SH). COBB designed it for owners whose turbo upgrades, such as a larger turbo or an external wastegate, call for more precise and flexible boost control than the factory solenoid allows.

Note: For the VA, COBB lists the WRX STI only. A tune is required. COBB warns that running a map made for the factory solenoid with this 3-port solenoid fitted causes severe over- or under-boost, so the tune and hose routing must match. Installation by a professional is recommended.
